Excellent! I subbed honey for the white sugar. The seasonings are well balanced. The sauce made a great glaze for a grilled whole chicken as well as a delicious dip.

Made this for the first time.i omitted the maple syrup not a fan. Otherwise followed it but used red wine vinegar since it was all I had. This was excellent and sooo easy. You can use it with egg rolls or I made chicken tenders and mixed it with veggies and the sauce. 😋

This recipe was so perfect for my gluten free husband! We can’t usually order Chinese takeout because of his gluten allergy and he misses it – this recipe was just like getting to order takeout, he loved it. Super simple and delicious! I served it with sautéed chicken and sushi style rice. Will definitely be making again!
